New wellness retreat unveiled at Monart Destination Spa

A brand new complete mind and body escape has been created by the spa therapist experts at Monart Destination Spa in Co Wexford. The Monart Wellness Retreat is now available as a two-night residential stay or as a day visit at this five-star destination spa.

“Our wellness retreat incorporates a complete overhaul for mind and body, allowing our guests to completely escape and recharge," said Monart spa manager Amy Kenny. "We have taken into consideration the stresses and pressures of modern living and the impact that this can have on mental and physical health. The programme is designed to offer a complete reset through the delivery of meditation and yoga classes and techniques, professional tailored spa treatments, and above all we set the scene for total relaxation.”

Travel was one of the hardest industries during covid. Fahy Travel in Galway closed its doors in March 2020 and spent the following 18 months awaiting an avalanche of cancellations, rebooking holidays and sorting refunds.

The business reopened in July 2021 only to face another series of cancellations and increased travel restrictions.
