Thu, Jul 11, 2024
This Saturday, the city of Galway will experience a cultural and food extravaganza it has never witnessed before. The Indian Cultural and Sports Community, ICSC Galway, in association with India Soc of the University of Galway, is delighted to announce the first-ever Great Indian Food Festival. A very stretched-out event, planned from 1 PM till 9 PM near the Alice Perry Engineering Building, University of Galway (H91 HX31), will be a treat for all senses through its sundry, authentic Indian foods, music, and dance.
The Great Indian Food Festival promises a taste of India in Galway, with the concept of bringing together an array of dishes from the local and award-winning food houses in Ireland. At the threshold, it is not just a festival of food but a celebration of diversity—of the cultural tapestry that is alive, pulsating India—and a forum to imbibe the spirit of community here. And entry is absolutely free to ensure that everybody gets to join in the celebration. It will also allow the visitors to directly purchase items of their choice of food by visiting various food stalls and food trucks.
