Rude employer yawned during my interview

Q: I did a job interview last week. Two of the interview panel were fine, but one of them was downright rude. If he wasn’t looking out the window, he was tapping his biro on the desk. I’m pretty sure I caught him suppressing a yawn at some stage. I nearly asked him if he didn’t mind concentrating, but I resisted the temptation. I got the Dear John letter two days later. Chinese experts at conference on environment and health

NUI Galway has this week been hosting the 2012 Sino-European Symposium on Environment and Health (SESEH 2012) which provides a platform for interaction between scientists, consultants, and public servants engaged in the multi-disciplinary area of environment and health.

The conference which began on Monday, August 20 and runs until Saturday, August 25 has welcomed more than 200 delegates, including 100 experts from China. SESEH will, for the first time, provide an opportunity for a direct communication between environment and health experts from China and Europe, and help to foster and develop international collaborations. SESEH 2012 will discuss questions such as ‘Is the air we breathe still fresh?’, ‘Is the water we drink still clean?’ and ‘Is the food we eat still safe?’
