Galway Loves Music #1

Talk about music. Listen to Tracy Bruen, Oh Boland, and The Clockworks

GALWAY LOVES Music is a new evening of discussion and performances in the Róisín Dubh, and a chance for musicians in Galway to meet local and national voices who will share their knowledge of how music works.

Galway Loves Music #1 takes place in the Dominick Street venue on Monday April 23 at 7pm. Speakers on the night will include Alan Swan, director of music content at RTÉ 2FM; David Boland from Citóg Records; Gugai MacNamara from the Róisín Dubh and Strange Brew Records; and First Music Contact CEO, Angela Dorgan. There will also be performances from Oh Boland, Tracy Bruen, and The Clockworks.

GLM is a collaboration between First Music Contact and the Róisín Dubh. The aim is to introduce new avenues of discussion for music makers and fans, while providing a forum for planning, listening, debate, and talking music.

Admission is free but booking is required. Angela will hold free, 30 minute, consultancies on April 23. Booking for both is via [email protected].
