UNA HEALY, one-fifth of The Saturdays, and more recently a solo artist and television personality and presenter, plays the Róisín Dubh this weekend as part of her upcoming Irish tour.
Una plays the Róísín on Saturday June 16 at 8pm as part of 'The Voice Inside Of Me' tour. This is the Thurles, County Tipperary, born singer's first solo tour, and follows the releases her most recent single, 'Never See Me Cry'.
Born in Thurles, County Tipperary, Una became a member of The Saturdays in 2007. The group sold more than five million records worldwide, enjoyed 13 Top 10 singles (including a British No1 in 'What About Us', featuring Sean Paul ), five Top 10 albums, four nationwide headline tours, and starred in three primetime TV series, including Chasing The Saturdays for E! which aired in over 40 countries including the US.
In 2017, Una signed to Decca Records and released her first single 'Stay My Love', a duet with Sam Palladio, British born star of US TV drama Nashville, and her debut solo album The Waiting Game. She has taken part in TV shows such as Splash and became a judge on ITV's Let’s Get Gold. She has also hosted her own TV show, Una’s Dream Ticket, became a judge on The Voice of Ireland, and hosted her own Opry Dhoir special on TG4.
