Jess Klein - Irish tour starts in Galway

Irish begins with Róisín Dubh gig

JESS KLEIN has been called "a songwriter with a voice of unblinking tenacity" by The New York Times, while MOJO said she has “one of those voices you want to crawl up close to the speakers to listen to”.

Klein is touring Ireland this month, starting with a show in the upstairs bar of the Róisín Dubh on Tuesday March 27 at 8pm - her first return since touring Ireland supporting Arlo Guthrie.

The North Carolina based singer-songwriter is currently streaming 'Kid' on soundcloud. The track will be featured on her forthcoming album, produced by Mark Simonsen. According to Klein, the album will mix elements of Motown, classic rock, and 1970s style folk across 12 tracks. It is the follow-up to Learning Faith (2014 ) which Folk Radio UK called, “Unquestionably the finest album of her impressive career.”

Tickets are available from www.roisindubh.net; the Ticket Desk at OMG Zhivago, Shop Street; and The Róisín Dubh. See www.jessklein.com
