Glenn Wool - 'jaw-hurtingly funny'

Canadian comic to play Róisín Dubh tomorrow night

GLENN WOOL, the comedian described as "side-splittingly, jaw-hurtingly funny” by Time Out, Sydney and as “one of the best comics in the business," by Chortle.co.uk, who also advised, "go and see him now!”, returns to Galway.

Glenn brings his new show, Viva Forever, to the upstairs bar of the Róísín Dubh on Friday February 9 at 8pm. No stranger to critical acclaim, The Scotsman said, "an hour with Wool is worth about 10 hours with many other comics"; while The Guardian declared him, "effortlessly funny with an affability other comics can only dream of".

Glenn began his comedy career in his hometown of Vancouver in 1995, before moving to London in 1998. Since then, he has toured the USA, Europe, and Asia; appeared on 8 Out Of 10 Cats, Never Mind The Buzzcocks, Russell Howard’s Good News, The John Bishop Show, and Comedians' Comedian's Comedians with Doug Stanhope; wrote and starred in the second and third series of ITV's Comedy Cuts; contributed to The World Stands Up; written for BBC and Channel 4; and played the Reading, Leeds, Bestival, Download, Sonisphere, and Glastonbury festivals.
