Mercury Rev - sold out

Band to perform classic 1998 album Deserter's Songs at Róisín Dubh

MERCURY REV's upcoming show in the Róísín Dubh, where they will perform their classic 1998 album, Deserter's Songs, is now sold out.

The album, which features the hit single and Mercury Rev staple, 'Goddess On A Hiway', will be performed by band stalwarts Jonathan Donahue and Grasshopper (aka Sean Mackowiak ) in a stripped down, acoustic, setting, or, to quote the band, "in the fragile 'whisper and strum' way they were originally written", thus giving an insight into the " forces that nearly destroyed a band and the strange events leading toward a most unexpected return".

Mercury Rev play the Róisín Dubh on Saturday April 21 at 8pm.
