Enrolments for the Leaving and Junior Cert intensive Christmas courses are currently being taken at the Galway Study Centre at Mill Street. Classes will start on Tuesday morning, January 2, and continue until Saturday, January 6.
The latest date for registering is Tuesday, December 19. It is expected however that some subjects could be completely booked out at this stage. Revision will concentrate on key topics in each subject and students can enrol from one up to a maximum of four subjects. Excellent and comprehensive study notes will be provided and class sizes will be kept small.
The Galway Study Centre has consistently provided an excellent learning experience for its students and has done so for almost 34 years. Tuition is given by a team of highly experienced teachers who have achieved considerable success with examination classes over many years. In addition to revision, ongoing at the study centre are weekly classes for Leaving, pre-Leaving, and Junior Cert students in most subjects. These take place after school, in the evening time, and on Saturdays. The second term starts in January and it is expected that there will be a small number of new places to book at this stage. Shorter preparatory courses for the Leaving Cert French, Irish, and German oral examinations are also offered on selected weekends as well as specialised day seminars in higher level mathematics and English.
