THE HARBOUR Winter Arts fair, a showcase of contemporary art by Irish and international artists, hosted by The Galway City Gallery, officially opens on Fridau December 1.
The exhibition opens at 6.30pm, at the gallery on 15 New Dock Street, and features work by Tony Lock, who uses mixed media to portray the harbours, anchorages, and coastline of the west of Ireland; Emma Zukovic whose work deals with deals with cultural identity; Brian Kielt, whose work explores methods of depicting trauma; Spain's Antonio José Vallejo; Sabina Egan; and Elizabeth Mulligan, a figurative painter.
The gallery is open from 12 noon to 10pm on Thursdays and from 12 noon to 6pm on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The fair runs until December 24. See galwaycitygallery.ie
