Hear some Home Truths from Gearóid Farrelly

Comedian to play the Róisín Dubh this weekend

"TO BE an audience member in Farrelly’s crowd is a joy. Each joke landed perfectly...impeccable comic timing," is how Broadway Baby described Gearóid Farrelly at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

The late, legendary, Joan Rivers called him, “the best opening act in his price range”. You take the praise wherever you can get it, and the Irish comic's star has been in the ascendent these last few years, playing comedy festivals across the world, supporting Joan Rivers and Sarah Millican, and both touring with Neil Delamere and appearing every week on his Sunday Best show on Today FM. Gearóid's podcast, Fascinated, has also proven popular.

On Saturday, Gearóid Farrelly brings his new show, Home Truths, to the Róisín Dubh. The show will address everything from Trump to decluttering and explain why you should not toilet train a cat.

Doors are at 8pm. Tickets are €12 from www.roisindubh.net and OMG@Zhivago, Shop Street.
