'Condescendingly brilliant!' Irish-American comedian to play Dominick Street venue

SHE HAS been called "condescendingly brilliant!" by Edinburgh's Daily News and ranked among the “Ten Standout Stand-ups Worth Watching” by Backstage Magazine. She is Maureen Langan and she is coming to Galway.

The New Jersey born Irish-American comic and actor Maureen Langan plays the Róisín Dubh Comedy Clubh tomorrow at 9pm. Regarded as one of smartest, most fearlessly funny comics working today, she has won critical acclaim for her wit and honest rants on life’s absurdities. She has played clubs, theatres, and festivals, across the US, Canada, and Europe.

Support is from Oisin Hanlon, of whom Chortle.co.uk said: “There's definitely something funny and distinctive in Oisin Hanlon's bones…he's got an appealing, intriguing vibe and a winning, offbeat flow." Also on the bill is NUI Galway's Comedy Society auditor Niall Horisk. The MC is Steve Bennett.
