Comediversity - difference is beautiful

Comedy night to raise funds for Teach Solais LGBT+ centre

COMEDIVERSITY IS a diverse night of comedy which recognises that sometimes, for whatever reason, comedy lineups are seldom as diverse as they could possibly be.

Comediversity comes to the Róisín Dubh this Saturday at 8.30pm, featuring comedians from diverse backgrounds (LGBT+, women, people living in direct provision, acts with disabilities, non-nationals, and drag queens ): Paul David Murphy, Kai Johnson, Margaret McHugh, Lily Venom, Lucy Pollock, Donal Twomey, Lee Brophy, Bláithín de Burca, Niall Horisk, Breda Larkin, Mary Flanigan, and Dixie Normous, with Ireland's only stand up comic from the Traveller Community, Martin Beanz Warde, as MC.

There will be music by Inertia and proceeds from the night go towards the Teach Solais LGBT+ centre, Merchant's Road, and The National Women’s Council of Ireland. Tickets are €10 from www.roisindubh.net and OMG@Zhivago, Shop Street; or €12.50 on the door.
