Headford robbery

ght October 4, a house in Ballyfruit, in Headford, was broken into.

Household appliances were taken from the house which is currently under construction, including an Electrolux oven, a Whirlpool electric hob, and a Belling microwave.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Headford gardai on 093 35412.

Moycullen break-in

On Tuesday October 3, a house was broken into in Pine Grove in Moycullen.

The incident occurred between 6:30am and 10pm.

The house was ransacked and a substantial amount of cash stolen.

Anyone with information is asked to contact to gardai in Moycullen or call Salthill Garda Station on 091 514720.

Burglary on the Clybaun Road

There was an attempted break-in at Cul Aitinn on the Clybaun Road in the evening of Tuesday October 3 around 7.30pm.

The female occupant of the house disturbed two youths in her back garden; one had an item in his hand and was trying to break the back window.

The youths fled over the back wall on being interrupted.

Anyone who may have seen suspicious youths on the Clybaun Road last Tuesday are asked to contact Salthill Gardai, 091 514720.

Mass to launch World Meeting of Families

A Mass in Galway Cathedral to launch the World Meeting of Families (WMOF ) 2018 will take place on Sunday 15 October at 3pm.

The mass has been organised by the Diocesan Committee for the World Meeting of Families will launch the diocese’s programme of preparation for the World Meeting of Families taking place in Dublin from 21st -26th August 2018.
