The Minister for Health, Simon Harris will officially open Mountbellew Primary Care Centre tomorrow (Friday ) at 10am.
The facility, which is located at Pinegrove Medical Centre on the Tuam Road and is in operation since last October, provides a wide range of services to the public in Mountbellew and the surrounding area.
A number of health care officials will address the opening, including Frank Murphy, the head of primary care, and Tony Canavan, the chief officer of the Community Healthcare Organisation Area 2 (Galway, Mayo and Roscommon ). Dr Matt Linehan of the Mountbellew Primary Care Centre will also speak on the day while Fr Karl Burns will carry out the official blessing.
