The Crawling to unleash it's doom metal on Galway

THE CRAWLING, featuring former and current members of Honey For Christ and Zombified, who released their debut album Anatomy Of Loss this year, are coming to Galway.

The trio, from Lisburn, County Antrim, will unleash their minimalist, death influenced, doom metal, or what the band themselves call "a heavy, slow-death ensemble, forged against a backdrop of misery and contempt for the world that surrounds us”, in Sally Longs on Saturday September 23. They released the single, 'Choking On Concrete' in 2015, followed by the In Light Of Dark Days EP. They have performed at the Inferno Metal Festival in Norway, the Bloodstock Open Air in England, and the Siege of Limerick festival.

Support is from Connemara metallers Ten Ton Slug, who have just released their Live At The Siege EP, and Stonecarver, a new Galway metal band that mix blackened doom/death, with their extra-long songs.
