Bernard Dooley's view of Galway

Local artist exhibits in Galway City Library

GALWAY CITY As I See It, is the title of a new exhibition of artwork by Galwegian Bernard Dooley, which is currently running in the Galway City Library, St Augustine Street.

The exhibition features 20 paintings by Dooley, a graduate of GMIT Cluain Mhuire. Composed in acrylics, they are drawn from photographs the artist took of different people, around different parts of the city, including musicians busking in Eyre Square; people sitting around the Spanish Arch; people queuing for buses and trains at Ceannt Station and homeless people sleeping rough. The exhibition runs throughout the month of September.
