Damian Clark returns to Róisín Dubh Comedy Clubh

Support from Martin Angolo and Adam Burke with MC Steve Bennett

HE HAS big arms and a peaky cap, an Aussie accent, and a wry smile, but most importantly, he’s bloody funny. He's Damian Clark and he's coming to Galway to play the Róisín Dubh Comedy Clubh.

Damian, who plays the club tomorrow night, is best known as co-writer and presenter of RTÉ's I Dare Ya. Three Weeks called him “scorchingly funny and charmingly engaging”. His infectious energy and childlike outlook makes him one of the most uniquely entertaining acts on the comedy circuit.

Support is from Martin Angolo, who will be delivering his trademark mix of one-liners and silly observations. Krank.ie has praised his “quickfire wit and razor sharp reactions". There will also be a short set from Adam Burke of Hardy Har in Bray, recent runner-up in the Laughter Lounge comedy competition. The MC will be Irish Comedian of the Year, Steve Bennett.

Doors are at 9pm. Admission is €10 in advance from the Róisín Dubh; OMG@Zhivago, Shop Street; and www.roisindubh.net; or €12.50 on door.
