Bringing together a wonderful selection of the favoured wedding suppliers trusted and recommended by The Lodge at Ashford Castle, the Wedding Showcase on October 8th is also a chance to see the handsome light-filled Harbour ballroom dressed for a sophisticated celebration, and to speak in detail with the hotel’s dedicated wedding coordinators.
Guests will enjoy an elegant reception on arrival at 1pm with Prosecco, cocktails and canapés on offer. The beautiful sun terrace and immaculately manicured lawns from which guests have gorgeous views of Lough Corrib and Kinlough Woods, are a big draw for brides and grooms, so guests of the showcase can enjoy a stroll on the lawns during the event and take in the stunning scenery – the perfect backdrop for truly stunning wedding photographs.
With vintage wedding cars from various suppliers, wedding photography with expert Elizabeth Toher, splendid wedding cakes from Ballinrobe’s Devour Bakery and there will also be stunning hair inspiration for the Big Day from Siobhan Costello Hair.
Overlooking Lisloughrey Quay, with enchanting views of Lough Corrib, The Lodge at Ashford Castle seamlessly combines handsome period features with sophisticated contemporary elements and the talented chefs ensure each wedding menu is created using ingredients from the many local artisan suppliers throughout the Connemara, Mayo and Galway region.
