DISCONNECT 4, the brilliant Galway synth-rock band, are on, to quote one of their own songs ‘the rise’, and they will play the Róisín Dubh this Saturday at 9pm.
While the quartet - Leon Butler (vocals/synth ), Yvonne Ryan (bass ), Keith McCaffery (drums ), and Eoin Reilly (guitar ) - have been winning over the Galway audience this last year and a half, they are now gaining attention in Britain.
The band recorded a BBC Session in Belfast for influential broadcaster Steve LeMaq, while BBC Radio Scotland has declared ‘The Rise’ as the ‘song to watch out for over the next month’.
Disconnect 4 have just finished recording an EP with producer Martin Dubka of the highly rated British guitar band Cazels. The EP is due for release at the end of April and will contain the tracks ‘18’, ‘Modern Love’, ‘Disco Never Changes’, and ‘Ghost Before Breakfast’.
It’s onwards and upwards for the band. Don’t miss them this weekend.
