Galway City of Film in partnership with Galway Film Centre is presenting a special screening of the One Minute Film Festival for Culture Night 2017 at An Taibhdhearc on Friday September 22.

Thirty films of all genres will be screened including documentary, live action, art-house, and animation. These super short films pack a punch proving that a really great story can be told in just one minute.

There will also be a special screening of POSTCARD by team The Hasty Fellows which included Liza Bolton, Chris Bolton, Nigel Gilhooly, Derek Donlon, Mia Camillini, Sorcha Craddock, Craig Stewart, Aine Gallagher, Brian Nolan, and Graham Keane.

This was the winning film from the recent Little Cinema & Galway City of Film 48 Hour Challenge, where teams of filmmakers took to the streets and fields of Galway city and county to write, shoot, and edit their films in just 48 hours.

The One Minute Film Festival Special for Culture Night showcases the best in super-short filmmaking, where every moment counts, so join them for a fun evening of cinema.

The screening starts at 7pm and 8pm with each screening lasting approximately 40 minutes. Admission is free.
