Jigsaw is looking for cyclists to become a giro hero by siging up for its epic three-day, 470km charity cycle tour of Ireland.

The three day, eight stage, 470km charity cycle tour of Ireland is taking place from Friday September 29 to Sunday October 1 to raise vital funds to support young people with their mental health. The cycle will link counties and communities where Jigsaw provides vital services, including Galway.

With 60 places available on tour, this will be a once in a lifetime chance to experience the world of a cycle pro while supporting young people's mental health.

All accommodation and nutrition are provided, with bespoke Giro cycle training plans by Jonathan Gibson of the Athlete Clinic. and mechanical support by the team in Velocity Bike Store in Oranmore.

The challenge aims to raise some €50,000 to support Jigsaw’s work improving the lives of young people experiencing mental health difficulties.

Two time Giro d'Italia cyclist Gabriel Greally says it will be a fun experience for a leisure cyclist.

"Being able to do a cycle over a number of days, without having to worry about the logistics, means you can enjoy the cycle and all the fun and banter along the way. It’s a wonderful experience.”

To register interest, go online at jigsaw.ie/giro, or call Justin in Jigsaw 091 549 252. There is a €50 registration fee, and participants asked to raise a minimum of €750 to take part.
