Freddie White - Monroe's Live gig in August

"THERE'S STILL nobody to match Freddie White at his best," said The Irish Times. His loyal followers know this well and will be waiting in anticipation for his upcoming show at Monroe’s Live.

Corkonian White has been an integral part of the live music scene in Ireland since debuting in 1979 with Live On Tour, described by The Irish Times as "still among the greatest Irish albums of all time". His unique vocal and guitar skills have deservedly led him to be called ‘the maestro’, and he is equally accalaimed for his interpretations of Randy Newman, Tom Waits, John Hiatt and Guy Clark, as well as for his own songs.

White plays Monroe's Live on Friday August 11 at 8pm, performing songs from across his career, and including from his most recent album, Prodigal Songs. Tickets are €18 via www.monroes.ie and €20 on the door.
