MONDAYS ARE Murder, an afternoon of noir and crime fiction, featuring Galway based writers Séamus Scanlon, Aoibheann McCann, Órfhlaith Foyle, and Kernan Andrews, takes place as part of the Galway Fringe Festival.
Despite the event's title, it takes place on Tuesday July 25 from 2pm to 4pm in the Galway Mechanics Institute, Middle Street, and will see the four reading from their crime and noir fiction based poems, flash fiction, and short stories. There may also be a Q&A.
The Mondays Are Murder title comes from the Brooklyn based Akashic Books web series of the same name. Akashic is an independent publisher, which has published more than 50 noir collections including Dublin Noir, edited by Galway's Ken Bruen.
Admission is free. See www.galwayfringe.ie
