Tom O'Mahony - firing Buckshot in the Róisín

Comedian to bring new show to Dominick Street venue

SINCE STARRING in the hit TV comedy series Damo & Ivor as the intolerable toff Tarquin, Tom OMahony has become one of the busiest acts in Ireland. Now he brings his new stand-up show Buckshot, to Galway.

Tom will perform Buckshot in the upstairs bar of the Róísín Dubh this evening at 8pm. The show delves into everything from his life as an MMA fighter to the pure savagery of being a panto dame.

He has been a regular on Republic of Telly, Irish Pictorial Weekly, Bridget & Eamon, 3e’s Uploaded-Uncut and Irish Ghost Hunters. He is also a regular on 2FM's Breakfast Republic and Spin 1038's Fully Charged. The late, great, and much missed Rik Mayall called him a "psychotically funny bastard"; comedian Nina Conti declared him "fantastic"; while BroadwayBaby said he was "hilarious".

Tickets are €12 from OMG@Zhivago, Shop Street; the Róisín Dubh; and www.roisindubh.net
