MANY YEARS ago, Australian comedian Damian Clark came to Ireland, and he's never really been let leave since. This rambunctious and uplifting stand-up is back again, playing the Róisín Dubh Comedy Clubh tomorrow.
Clark was a regular feature in RTÉ’s Republic Of Telly, a comedy panelist in TV3’s The Apprentice: You're Fired!; and co-writer and co-star of I Dare Ya! Constantly thinking outside the box - he created a hit comic strip and a show about hunting down his stolen phone - he tours clubs and festivals across Britain, Ireland, and the European continent. The Scotsman called his comedy, "Hilariously surreal…well-wrought set delivered with brio and huge charm…Amazing."
Support is from America's Jim Elliott, host of Roast Battle Dublin, whose comedy has been described as “effortless and hilarious...his mastery of the stage is something to behold” by Krank.ie; and Darach mcGarrigle, an IFTA nominated film writer .
The MC is Steve Bennett. Doors are at 9pm. Tickets are €10 in advance from Róisín Dubh; OMG@Zhivago, Shop Street; and roisindubh.net; or €12.50 at the door.
