Worries Outernational bring the reggae this weekend

One of Ireland's leading soundsystems pushing reggae and dancehall music to hit the Commercial Boatclub

WORRIES OUTERNATIONAL, one of the leading soundsystems pushing reggae and dancehall music in Ireland, hit Galway this weekend when they take over the Commercial Boatclub in Woodquay.

Known for their long standing Saturday night club Reggae Fever, as well as Dancehall Styles, formerly on Sunday nights in the Temple Bar Music Centre, the Worries have been giving reggae a weekly home in Dublin for the past 12 years.

They mix roots, revival, digital, and dancehall. Comprising five long time reggae selectors, each member brings his/her own style and flavour to the mix. All have a solid reputation for top quality reggae on the club scene in Ireland. The crew have played Body & Soul, Life Festival, Spirit of Folk, and Electric Picnic.

The event takes place this Saturday. Doors are at 9pm. Admission is €10. There will be food on the night from Jamaica Joe's.
