FOLK, ROCK, pop, gypsy jazz, bluegrass and "shake your ass" music is what Galway can expect when Mad Dog McRea take to the stage of Monroe’s BackStage Bar next month.
The band will perform original songs of adventure, drinking, love, and life, along with traditional songs of Gypsies, fairies, and legless pirates. As ltdstate.com said: “This is rowdy, heartfelt, room shaking, and spirit-stirring music that only the dead can’t enjoy.” Acoustic magazine declared: “This is music that transcends the run-of-the-mill Irish Wannabes and leaves them standing.” Check out their latest album, Almost Home.
