ST PETERSBURG, Russia, 1861. A young man commits a violent murder in cold blood. He considers himself a Napoleon, acting for a higher purpose. Confronted with the seriousness of his crime, only the prostitute Sonja, offers redemption.
This is Fyodor Dostoyevsky's Crime & Punishment which has been adapted for the stage by Philip McDonagh, and which is to be staged in Galway by Morgan Creative. It will be directed by Luke Morgan with musical direction by Jake Morgan.
