Beer and Liquor fusion cocktails come to Galway

Galway’s Massimo and the White Hag brewery from Sligo have joined forces to create strange yet brilliant cocktails. Finally, it is time for people’s favourite tipples to partner up and create beer cocktails. The fusion cocktails will be officially launched in Massimo on Friday 12th May at 7pm. There will be a live demonstration and tasting and everyone is invited.

Pioneered by the creative geniuses in New York bar the Dead Rabbit, using the White Hag Heather ale, ‘Pop-Inns’ are a new range of innovative cocktails’ and Massimo are creating the first range this side of the Atlantic.

Massimo’s resident mixologist Dylan Murray has blended the White Hag’s range of Sour Beers with his own Gin, Vodka and Tequila based cocktails, resulting in a new beer-liquor fusion range of cocktails.

“We are hosting a tasting night, so that people can see and experience the fusion of beer with these spirits in a very tasty way. The night kicks off at 7pm and everyone will get to sample and enjoy cocktails made by Dylan. On the night, there will also be a Tap Take over by the White Hag brewery, so for all craft beer lovers and now cocktail fans, we have the night for you,” explained Simon Heaslip of Massimo.
