Summer art classes with Beechmount Art Studio

Multi award winning Beechmount Art Studio is springing into summer with new terms of art classes in Lackagh and a new location of The Glassroom at Brazco Coffee Academy, Oranmore.

Catering for all skill levels and every medium with weekly oil, acrylic, and drawing/watercolour classes available both mornings and evenings, there is a class to suit everyone’s needs. Beginners and intermediate students will be given step by step instruction on how to create their own masterpieces at their own skill level, while more advanced students will be challenged to develop and expand their talents under the watchful eye of tutors Aisling Kearney Burke, Kathy Ross, and Lorraine Fletcher.

Indeed, the reputation of Beechmount Art Studio is growing with many artists who attend the studio exhibiting their own work and holding their own solo exhibitions. Aisling Kearney Burke and her team were also delighted when two of the studio’s younger artists, Ashlyn Keating and Kasia Krasowski, reached the Irish final of the global Toyota Dream Car Art Competition. The students’ work will now go on to compete in the global final in Japan with a chance of winning an all expenses paid trip to Japan.

Beechmount Art Studio has announced new children/teens’ art courses with specified classes in acrylic painting, drawing/illustration, and general art, and its new My Project course which will cover a broader range of disciplines.

The new term starts the week of May 2 with courses running between six and eight weeks. Places are strictly limited, early booking is advised. For the class schedule and to book online, see www.beechmountartstudio.com
