Elysium Day Spa & Laser Clinic, Moycullen, has been shortlisted to the final five for the IBPA Salon of the Year award.
Elysium is one of Galway's premier salons well known for its high level of professional standards and service and its stunning premises. Elysium was the only salon to be chosen from the west of Ireland for this prestigious national award.
“The girls and I are absolutely thrilled and honoured by the recognition from such a distinguished panel of judges,” said salon proprietor Valerie Osborne. “We work very hard every day to ensure all our clients experience the best and obtain the results they are looking for, whether it's an eyebrow trim or a two hour full body ritual. We do it for our clients, not to win awards, but I have to say it's wonderful to be recognised for our consistency and professional practice. To be chosen from the hundreds of salons throughout Ireland and Northern Ireland is quite an achievement and one we are very proud of.”
This is the seventh year of the IBPA Irish Beauty Industry Awards. The awards are now firmly established as the premier professional showcase of the Irish beauty sector, and continues to recognise and reward excellence in the beauty industry. This annual awards presentation and gala black tie dinner is considered to be the most glamorous event in the Irish beauty calendar, and the awards themselves are regarded as the Oscars of the beauty industry honouring the crème de la crème of the beauty and spa sector.
Judging is carried out by the IBPA and invited judges, though a series of shortlisting, mystery client visits, practical examinations, and interviews. Those who attain the title of best in their field of expertise are rewarded not only with the title and recognition for their achievement but also with enhanced credibility and stature nationally. This year’s event will take place in the recently refurbished Burlington Hotel hosted by TV's Brendan Courtney on Sunday April 5.
