PAUL BREGAZZI, Una Mannion, Eileen P Keane, and Rena Garrett, will read at this year's Over The Edge's annual New Writing Showcase as part of the 2017 Cúirt International Festival of Literature.
Bregazzi's poetry has appeared in Crannóg, The Stony Thursday Book, Skylight 47, The Stinging Fly, Magma, and The French Literary Review. He won second place in Magma Editors’ Short Poetry Prize and the Oliver Goldsmith International Poetry Competition.
Mannion's poetry has been published in The Irish Times, while her fiction was shortlisted for the Cúirt New Writing Prize. She is also a winner of the Yeats' Society's Seamus Heaney Prize.
Keane, from Connemara, has written and performed for theatre and stage, while her album Spaces was released in 2014. She has sang at Electric Picnic and the Clifden Arts Festival. Garrett's poetry has been published in The Moth and Spontaneity.org and was shortlisted for the Galway Rape Crisis Centre Short Story Competition 2016.
The event is in the Town Hall Theatre on Wednesday April 26 at 3pm. The MC will be Susan Millar DuMars. Admission is free. See www.cuirt.ie
