Galway Community College (GCC ) continues to offer a wide range of PLC courses in business. The college offers courses in all the business QQI awards areas. QQI Level 5 courses in marketing, public relations, and web design, legal and medical secretary, and the new digital marketing course makes GCC a very exciting college to further your education and enhance your career.
GCC also offers Level 6 courses in business management and multimedia with web development. Studying Level 6 allows GCC students advanced entry directly into the second year of a GMIT programme with the recent agreement with GMIT.
All GCC's business courses help students to understand the latest software applications and to apply their learning in practical work placement through the academic year. Students have gained employment in many local businesses and with the possibility of achieving 390 CAO points from completing a business PLC course in GCC, progression to higher education institutes becomes a reality for participating students.
