Cooney, Byrne, and Harper for Monroe's Live

STEVE COONEY, Altan's Dermot Byrne, and Bríd Harper, three outstanding Irish trad musicians, are coming to Galway to play Monrtoe's Live next week.

Accordionist Dermot Byrne has performed, recorded, and/or toured with Altan, Donal Lunny, Stephane Grapelli, Frankie Gavin, Sharon Shannon, and The Stunning. He was TG4's Traditional Musician of the Year 2013. Australian-born guitarist, bassist, producer and didgeridoo player Steve Cooney, has worked with Stockton's Wing, Sharon Shannon, Seamus Begley, and Sinead O'Connor. Bríd Harper is a fiddle player from Donegal, and has performed with Donogh Hennessy, Danny O'Mahony, Arty McGlynn, and Harry Bradley.
