And then there were six — Elevate Awards finalists announced

The long wait for the announcement of the Impact Media Elevate Award winner is almost over as the six finalists are announced this week.

Making the final cut from 180 down to 12 and finally down to the final six, the announcement of the overall winner of the Impact Media Elevate Award is just around the corner.

The six Impact Media Elevate Award Finalists are Mark McCole of Mystic Force, Aidan and Martina McIntyre of Maxx Recruitment, Carmel Tynan of Glowgoat Ltd., JP Reddington and Fergus Kennedy of Live Webstars, brothers Donal, Joe and David Reilly of Thermasol Total Energy Solutions, and Peter Boland of Cases Wine Warehouse.

The calibre of the entrants was extremely high this year which made the decision of choosing the six finalists extremely difficult, according to Niall McGarry, Chairman of Impact Media.

“It is truly regrettable that all 12 couldn’t make it to the finals, the judging this year has been by far the most difficult yet, choosing only one as the overall winner of the Elevate Award 2008 is going to be an extremely difficult process.”

McGarry went on to thank all those involved in the competition so far.

“On behalf of all involved, we would like to thank all those who entered the Elevate Award, especially those who made it to the final 12. The effort, enthusiasm and professionalism portrayed throughout the competition are greatly appreciated and we wish all applicants every success in the future of their businesses.”

So what now for the final six of the Impact Media Elevate Award 2008? Well all six finalists will be making their way to the Meyrick Hotel on the evening of Thursday August 21 for an evening of fine food, drink and entertainment, with the announcement of the Impact Media Elevate Award 2008 winner being made before the night’s out.
