CONMAN, DEAD Horse Jive, Foxy Boxxing, Patrick Conneely, and Tobi will fight to be the first winner of Distortion, the new music competition organised by NUI Galway Music Society.
The competition final will be held tonight in The Quay's Music Hall, the venue which recently won the IMRO Live Music Venue Connacht 2016 award. With a focus on originals, the acts are given 20 minutes to impress the three judges, who will be looking at the quality of the songs and the band's stage presence.
The overall winner will get recording time in Temple Lane Studios. All are welcome to the event and to support the bands.
