THE NEXT heat of the Show Me The Funny competition takes place in The King's Head this coming Monday, and the organisers are expecting it to be "one of the toughest yet".
Eight more aspiring comedians will take to the stage, competing for a place in the grand final on February 20. The overall winner will walk away with a slot at the Comedy Tent at this year's Electric Picnic, and there will be substantial prizes for the runners up. The special guest will be Andrew Stanley, resident MC at the Electric Picnic Comedy Tent, known for his ability to deal with hecklers.
Doors are at 8pm. Tickets are €5 and are available at the door.
