A FEAST of psych, prog, indie, and punk

Tuath, Junk Drawer, and Crude to play Róisín Dubh

"IRISH-LANGUAGE psych-rock noise from outer space" is how Donegal band Tuath describe themselves, and Galway will see and hear why when they play the next FEAST gig at the Róisín Dubh.

Tuath will bring their mix of prog-rock and shoegaze to the upstairs bar of the Róisín this Saturday at 9pm. The gig will also mark the official launch of their new single ‘Stoically I Ran Through The Rubble’. The band have been known to sing as Gaeilge and feature smooth sax solos in their songs.

Also playing on the night are Belfast indie rockers Junk Drawer, whose influences include Pavement, Blur, and Whipping Boy. Members Stevie and Jake Lennox and Brian Coney are multi-instrumentalists, and all share lead vocal duties. They have also been members of Sister Ghost, PigsAsPeople, and Mons Olympus.

Support is from Galway band Crude, who play stripped back rock'n'roll with punk rock spit, shine, and swagger.

Admission is €5.
