Model trains, airplanes and tractors at Galway Christmas Model and Diorama Show at Menlo Park Hotel tomorrow

The Menlo Park Hotel Galway tomorrow welcomes back The Galway Christmas Model & Diorama Show which will be held in the hotel on tomorrow Friday Dec 30. The event has grown in size from last year and will show more exhibitors and model trade stalls than last year. Over 500 adults and children attended the show last year and the same, if not more, is expected again this year.

There is certainly a craft that goes into the building of some of the displays that you will see on the day. Enjoy a hobby or something new this December. You might even find something special for someone you know. To many, even the smallest collectable model is worth the world.

“The show is not just for adults, many children that came last year were amazed and excided, not just by Santa, but by the wide variety of models on display”, says Micheal O Murchu, Co Organiser of the Menlo show.

“This has been a life long hobby for me and it started when I was a small child and it’s great to see that many children all over Cork shared such a great interest,” he said

Expect to see remote control cars, new diorama displays and even bigger selections of farm machinery for sale and display from Britain’s Siku and Universal Hobbies. There will also be Dolls houses on display, Tekno Models for sale & display and much more.

The Galway Christmas Model and Diorama Show will be open to the public from 2pm – 9pm and will provide unmissable entertainment for families, couples, friends and children.
