Galway personal trainer expands her business

One of Galway’s leading personal trainers is busy expanding her business, proving that people are still keen to invest in their health and well-being despite the economic downturn.

Sarah Thornton has appointed an extra personal trainer to accommodate her growing client base.

“Although personal training may be perceived as a luxury, people are still willing to invest in their health in this current economic environment,” said Ms Thornton, who is originally from Salthill.

“My clients give a high priority to continuing their fitness sessions. They recognise that having a fit body and a fit mind will help them better focus their efforts at home and work as the environment becomes increasingly pressurised. They also feel that investing in their health now will save them bigger health bills in the future,” she added.

Ms Thornton has recently appointed personal trainer Mary Fitzpatrick BSc (sport and exercise science ). Ms Fitzpatrick has been personal training in Galway since 2004. She is experienced in working with a range of fitness needs including post-injury, pre and post-natal, weight loss, and golf fitness.

“Mary is a great addition to my company. She is well known around Galway as being a very competent personal trainer who has an excellent rapport with her clients. Your health and fitness will be well looked after under her support and guidance,” said Ms. Thornton.
