Fred Cooke @ Róisín Dubh Comedy Clubh

TOMMY TIERNAN says he has "the real spirit of the clown in him”. The Munster Express praised his “high octane, manic brand of surreal genius”. He is Fred Cooke and he plays the Róisín Dubh Comedy Clubh.

A star of hit RTÉ shows Republic of Telly, The Fear, and The Savage Eye, Fred plays the Clubh tomorrow at 9pm. The Meath born comic, armed with his guitar, have played numerous comedy festivals at home and abroad, and more recently supported Tommy Tiernan.

Support is from Show Me The Funny 2015 winner Danny Ryan, whose mix of dark storytelling and clever one-liners have won him notice, and Gráinne McKeever, an art teacher and a PhD student of sociology in UCD.
