The Three Tenors will perform a Christmas Peace Concert in Galway Cathedral on Saturday December 3.
Performing up to 100 concerts annually in premier venues throughout Ireland and the UK, this year the trio of Derek Moloney, Dominic McGorian, and Shane Morgan sold out the five star Belfast Lyric Theatre two months in advance. They also performed in Armagh, Christchurch Dublin, and Galway Cathedral, receiving standing ovations at every concert.
Special guests at the December 3 concert will be the Scoil Íde school choir, Salthill.
This promises to be an evening of popular classic hits from Sinatra, The Dubliners, and Pavarotti, along with magical Christmas favourites and new arrangements of hits such as Over the Rainbow and I Don’t Wanna Talk About It. This thrilling concert includes beautiful spiritual favourites ‘Panis Angelicus’, ‘Ave Maria’, ‘The Prayer’, and festive favourites ‘O Holy Night’ and ‘Silent Night’.
