HOPE IS Noise, long time stalwarts of the Irish alternative/heavy scene, will bring their polished alt-rock and feral post-hardcore broadsides, to the next FEAST gig in the Róisín Dubh.
Hope Is Noise will perform music from their new album, Demons, in the upstairs bar of the Róisín this Saturday from 9pm. Inspired by Nirvana, Fugazi, and Hot Snakes, the Cork quartet are a formidable live act, with a furious, yet focused, approach to noisy, heavy, hardcore-inflected alt-rock.
Also on the bill are fellow Corkonians, The Magnapinna. While they embrace disparate sounds and influences and strive not to fall into one genre, their sound is rooted in heavy rock with a healthy dose of humour thrown in for good measure.
Also on the bill are stoner rock/alternative band Ropemaker and punk group The Flayers. Admission is €5.
