Top three picks for Fantasy Football

In association with St. Anthony's & Claddagh Credit Union

And we are back to the Premier League after a week of international football which saw Ireland strengthen their chances of qualifying for Russia 2018 with a superb 1-0 victory in Vienna.

Our Fantasy Football managers would have been watching on keenly, hoping and praying that their star players made it through the international break unscathed. But who will light up the Premier League this weekend and who will be suffering from an international hangover. It is time for the top three picks for round 12 of the Galway Advertiser Tribal Leader League in association with St Anthony's and Claddagh Credit Union.

Eden Hazard - Chelsea

The Belgian maestro is on fire with four goals in his last four outings for the Blues. He has terrorised the defences of Hull City, Leicester City, Man United, and Southampton in recent weeks and we should expect more of the same from the winger against league strugglers Middlesbrough on Sunday afternoon. A simple piece of advice; get Eden Hazard in your team.

Sergio Aguero - Man City

Although Pep Guardiola's men have been inconsistent of late, striker Sergio Aguero can always be relied on putting the ball in the back of the net. After a dip in form, the Argentine has bagged himself three goals in his last two Premier League matches and I believe he will put his name on the scoresheet again this weekend when City travel to Selhurst Park to take on Crystal Palace.

Joe Allen - Stoke City

The Welsh Xavi is having his best season to date. From goals and assists, the midfield dynamo can do no wrong. Allen will again be in the thick of it this weekend as Stoke welcome Bournemouth to the Bet365 Stadium. Expect the Welshman to pick up plenty of fantasy points this Saturday.

So there you have it, the advertiser.ie's top three selections for this weekend's Premier League action.
