GALWAY ARTIST Evie Gaughan's new exhibition, Flower Child, a collection of vibrant and whimsical works, is currently running at the Renzo Café, Eyre Street.
The works on show are inspired by "nature and the dreamy quality of meadows, flowers and life by the sea". The artist says she has "always been drawn to bright colours" and that she likes to "approach my painting with a sense of spontaneity and I find acrylics suit this process perfectly".
The exhibition runs until December 5.
