Galway charity hosting a fundraising concert with country gospel singer James Kilbane

PLANT charity group has organised a fundraising concert with country gospel singer James Kilbane at the Church of the Resurrection, Ballinfoyle, on Friday September 30 at 7.30pm.

PLANT (Pernet Lay Associates Networking Together ) is a voluntary group which gives support to family life across the region. PLANT offers programmes and workshops in Galway to build confidence and add new skills for the modern day family life. PLANT also offers community development workshops (training for transformation ) on leadership skills which include personal growth, group skills, social analysis, and organisational development. Other workshops include coping with life situations in grief and loss, art therapy workshops, music therapy workshops, and dream workshops.

To help raise funds the PLANT Pernet organisation is staging the country gospel concert night with popular country singer James Kilbane. Since 2004, Mr Kilbane has become a popular voice on radio and television across the country with his mix of country, gospel, and faith based music. With 12 albums released to date he will sing many of his popular songs and country gospel favourites at Ballinfoyle Church on the Headford Road. If you like country music then this will be a night not to be missed.
