Galway’s Yo!Fit on a par with international fitness trends

Combining strength work, cardio fitness training, stretching, and mindfulness, all-in-one fitness and wellbeing class Yo!Fit has already brought the latest New York fitness concepts to Galway.

“What Yo!Fit offers here in Galway already reflects everything that is becoming hugely popular in New York,” explained Yo!Fit co-founder Laragh Cunningham after a recent research trip to the US. “I was very excited to discover that the New York fitness scene is buzzing with everything that our Yo!Fit class offers already. The exercise selection, class structure, emphasis on self-awareness, and attentive teaching styles that lie at the heart of Yo!Fit are characteristic of the ever evolving and progressive international exercise trends.”

Yo!Fit was created here in Galway last year when Laragh Cunningham, a yoga teacher, and Sarah Thornton, a personal trainer, combined their wealth of professionalism, as well as their knowledge and passion for health and wellbeing. If you are time poor and cannot make all the classes needed to achieve a well-rounded exercise regime, this is the class for you.

Yo!Fit integrates strengthening, stretching, and high intensity interval cardio training, all with an emphasis on building self-awareness. If you want to try a new class to shake up your existing exercise routine or simply to get your new fitness plans off to a great start, try Yo!Fit. Classes start next week in Ocean Fitness at the Salthill Hotel with a new Monday morning class added to the timetable. Non-members of Ocean Fitness are welcome.
