Galway City Social is a meet-up group and social club based in Galway city with members from all over, which is free to join and many events are also free. Its reason for existing is to have a platform where people can meet, socialise, connect and attend events together.
There are lots of events from coffee and chat, dining out, a book club, movie nights, gigs, speedating and much more, and of course members are free to suggest an event they would like to go to or set up and chances are there will be others interested in the same.
The club is open to all and free to join. The majority of members are in their thirties and fourties, however many members are in their twenties, fifties and sixties also.
A speed dating night will take place this Friday (September 2 ) in McGettigans Pub Prospect Hill. This event begins at 8pm and runs until late. This will be a good night of socialising with the added bonus of possibly meeting someone with whom you would like to swap contact details.
At a previous event of this type, there were more than 50 matches, and was a fun, enjoyable night was had by all who attended.
