GALWAY'S ELECTRIC Garden & Theatre won the Music Venue/Nightclub of the Year at the Sky Bar of the Year Awards 2016, which were held recently in the Mansion House, Dublin.
The Sky Bar of the Year Awards are dedicated to raising the profile of the licensed trade and are judged by an expert panel of industry professionals with the Nightclub of the Year Award including a public vote this year.
“The response has been amazing, we have been inundated with messages of support from customers and local businesses alike," said Electric manager James Finan. "It was a great night for Galway with Electric, An Pucán, The Quays, and Tribeton all winning, which made for a fantastic atmosphere at the ceremony. When each winner from Galway was announced the support within the room was immense and highlighted the work within the industry in Galway on a national stage.
“The awards recognised the great work put in by staff and management throughout the year. In Electric we continually strive to build a community, encourage inventiveness, and create a nightlife experience where you can eat, drink, and dance the night away under one roof. This award is a testament to that. We will build on this success for the coming year and the team are delighted to be named best in Ireland."
